Overview for General PractitionersUnlike traditional sleep laboratories, we ensure that patients with suspected sleep disorders are tested in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home, and because the same parameters are measured, your can be assured that our results are reliable and accurate. We also offer your patients the luxury of choice - patients can select the time and place of their sleep study to fit in with their schedule and lifestyle, without any waiting lists. Our services are very convenient for doctors, too - a referring practitioner can order a comprehensive sleep study with short notice (this is particularly important for patients suspected of having severe sleep disorders or who experience dangerous daytime sleepiness), and we will usually provide a report and clinical recommendations within 7-10 working days of the Sleep Study. We can also implement treatment immediately upon diagnosis, or refer patients to a suitable service provider. Please click Here to download our comprehensive Practitioner Information Pack. Overall, our streamlined services ensure comfort and peace of mind for the patient, while providing much-needed diagnosis data in a timely and professional manner to help doctors to evaluate and treat sleep disorders. Our Sleep Studies
Our Sleep Studies can be used to diagnose a range of sleep disorders, including snoring, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Periodic Leg Movement Disorder, and Insomnia. We use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, which monitors the following parameters during a Sleep Study:
Once a patient's results are analysed by our highly qualified and experienced sleep scientists, a fully staged and scored report is provided to the referring physician, together with a clinical diagnosis and recommendation. Our in-house Respiratory and Sleep Physician reports each test and makes appropriate recommendations as to treatment. As part of our full-service approach, we also offer treatment for sleep disorders (supervised by our Sleep Physician), assist patients through our excellent CPAP Clinic service, and offer subsequent Sleep Studies to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
